Welcome to the FAQ page.

Site Registration

To register for an account, click the registration link located on the left hand side.

When you register for an account, you will be assigned the role of registered user.  Here is a brief list of user roles.

User                 Access & Permissions

                         A Registered User has no ability to create, edit, or publish content on HaShaliach.
Registered     They may submit new Web Links for publication and they may have access to restricted
                         content that is not available to guests.
                       

                       Authors can create their own content, specify certain aspects of how the content will be
Author           displayed, and specify the date when the material should be published.
          

                       Editors have the same abilities as an Author and they can edit their own content as well as
Editor             that of any other Author.
          

                       Publishers can perform all the duties of Authors and Editors and have the ability to publish
Publisher      content.
 

As stated previously, you will be assigned the role of Registered User.  The owner may, at his discresion, change your role to an author, editor, or publisher. 

Forum

The forum is an online asynchronous communications medium.  In English, that means an online area where a user may post questions or responses to other people's questions and comments.  Only registered users and higher may post on the forums.  Please be sure to read the rules before posting, find the rules by clicking "Rules" at the top of the Forum page in the HaShalaich Header bar.

 Messages

The messages area may be accessed from the Messages link on the top menu bar, or from one of the various PM Mailbox links on the right hand column of the front page. Click on settings to adjust notification preferences, Inbox to go to your inbox, outbox to view sent items, archive to read old messages you have chosen to archive, trash can to view your trashed messages, or compose to write a new message.  The PM system is designed as a private way for you to communicate with other registered users on HaShaliach.

Search

This link located on the top menu allows you to search the website for content related to the keywords you have chosen.

Videos

This area of the site, accessed from the top menu, is designed to allow registered users to post videos and review other user's submissions.  Please only post material in good taste that is Christ centric.

Gallery

Occassionally we will post photos from the community on the gallery.  Check in often to view albums created by the HaShaliach ministries.

Link Submission

This form is located via a link on the main menu (left hand column).  Please submit your favorite site for review.

Recommend Us

Event Submission

Do you have an upcoming event planned?  Invite the HaShaliach community by posting the time and place in the Coming Events list.  You can access the form via a link on the Home page.

Breadcrumbs

Got yourself lost on the site?  On the top of the screen, under the Top menu is a breadcrumb trail with links showing you where you currently are on the site.  If you want to go back one or two levels, click on the appropriate breadcrumb link.  Vista users should be familiar with this handy navigation tool.
